THE PREMISES
Our production site offers us a work area of 2500 m². 2000 m² of which is reserved for transforming, packaging and storing and 500m² of which is split over two levels for office space, cloakrooms and restrooms.
The building was designed with the well-being of the personnel in mind. It was designed so that the distribution of materials in the extraction process could respect the regulations, so that energy consumption could be limited , and also so that any extension work could be made easily.
The building is constructed entirely of wood from the local area. Every room, including the storeroom, is made of clean room panels in order to respect food and pharmaceutical industry regulations.
STOCK
The 850 m² storeroom stocks more than 1 000 pallets. We store plants, packaging products and finished products.
A 700m3 sub-zero cold room preserves fresh herbs and plants in order to use them throughout the year.
HERBALS
A plant-cutting workshop equipped with cutters, shredders and knives enables us to prepare both dried and fresh plants for orders in the herbal sector or for the production of herbal extracts.
PRODUCTION UNIT
Our complete stainless steel production unit is equipped with two 2500 litre tanks and one 300 L double-walled mixer-tank. This installation is completed by an innovative double pasteurisation system, several storage tanks and mixing tanks ranging from 1 000 to 8 500 litres. The whole production line is computer-controlled in order to monitor all of the manufacturing parameters.
To complete our equipment, we have recently invested in two vacuum plant concentrators with a capacity of 300 and 2500 litres.
Thanks to this installation we can treat between 15 et 35 000 litres of plant extract per week.
DISTILLATION
Two 2000 litre stainless steel stills enable us to distil at lower pressures by direct or indirect steaming. We are therefore capable of distilling delicate essential oils such as lemon balm, high-yield essential oils such as hybrid lavender, while also being able to elaborate floral waters. We have a 2 500 litre vacuum mixer still dedicated to the elaboration of sublimates.
BOILER
Our production unit and our stills are driven by our steam boiler which has a capacity of 2 tons per hour.
PACKAGING LINES
We have a preparation room for bulk goods, equipped with three double-walled mixer tanks, ranging from 2 000 to 8 500 litres. Two filling lines of four to six pouring spouts allow us to package glass bottles, PET, round, square or flat recipients from 20 ml to 500 ml. Capping is done on the production line as is the labelling and the boxing up.
We have a laser jet printer, hot encoders and thermal transfer printers. For small quantities we have three semi-automatic fillers and a labelling line. We can fill from 5000 to 25 000 bottles per day.
LABORATORY
Our laboratory carries out botanical identification, CCM , dry residues, Essential Oil levels, alcohol levels, densities, brix levels, CPG, and bacteriology internally. Microbiological analysis are validated by an external laboratory. We sub-contract the active principle analysis.
Our Research & Development laboratory elaborates pilots for new products. We have recreated our installation in our laboratory in order to distil, extract, concentrate, package and mix, etc. in order to be in phase with our production line.
PROJECT
A 250 m2 laboratory is currently being built.
